Description

Join FOCA’s Art Conversations on Sunday, February 26, 2023, 2–5 p.m., with James Fishburne.

Join James Fishburne, Director of Forest Lawn Museum, for a conversation about the museum, an architecturally-rich space featuring a 195-foot-long painting and one of the largest stained glass collections in the United States. The museum, which opened in 1952, has both a permanent collection and rotating special exhibitions. James curates two to three exhibitions annually on topics ranging from puppetry to panoramic paintings. He is also a member of Forest Lawn's Art Committee, which selects new works for six memorial parks. James is currently in the final stages of implementing a new audio-visual program for the Hall of Crucifixion-Resurrection (HOCR).
